The Product Manager will play a unique role in helping to drive business growth for the Clinical Review organization and managing key products that are experiencing significant market growth. We are seeking energetic candidates with a thirst to learn and who want to be a part of winning team that is delivering a broad portfolio of products and services to Payers and Providers. The Product Manager will report to the VP/Director of Product Management and is responsible for enabling business growth with small Payers by executing a defined strategy, working with the sales team to enable sales, and accelerating decision making through the coordination of RFP responses and product delivery. The candidate will analyze market trends, monitor competitor activities, define product requirements, and assist the organization in activities associated with streamlining the sales deals pipeline with a strong customer focus. This position requires a blend of drive and finesse to ensure increase growth rates and strong customer relationships. The Product Manager is a key member of the team that will focus on driving growth as a strategic priority, the role will partner with sales, operations, engineering, program management, and legal as part of a winning collaborative team. Key Qualifications

• 1 to 5 years of experience in product management

• Knowledge of HEDIS specifications

• Excellent collaboration across teams and strong written & verbal communication skills.

• Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority.

• Strong analysis capability and the ability to communicate complex ideas for executive decision making.

• Engaging social skills and a hunger to continually learn.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Windows, Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

• Sales Force Experience is a plus.

• Experience with analytics is a plus

Description

Responsibilities:

Product planning and execution throughout the Product Lifecycle 50%

• Bring industry knowledge, with emphasis on HEDIS specifications, to influence client conversations, product roadmap, operations, make recommendations on front-end modifications to maximize product usability, and guide the organization through the annual HEDIS specification update cycle. Provide knowledge related to capture and use of supplemental data.

• Work with the leadership team in defining a winning strategy for market growth for your targeted product(s).

Product Requirements Capture and Development 20%

• Support the VP/Director of Product Management in the development of multi-generational product roadmaps.

• Support the identification of customer winning requirements that drive business growth.

• Leverage market findings to identify key requirements that will drive increased sales.

• Capture requirements for the development of new capabilities in new product solutions.

Market Analysis and Competitive Positioning 15%

• Support the VP/Director of Product Management in the development of competitive position mapping.

• Support the VP/Director in the alignment of product strategy with market segments and opportunities.

• Track and monitor competitor activity and provide competitor updates to leadership.

• Track and monitor industry activity and changes that may impact our products.

Deal Closure Acceleration Support, RFPs, and coordination activities 15%

• Support Director of Product Management to grow the business at the rate planned.

• Identify any barriers to sales agility and work with the leadership team for removal.

• Coordinate the streamlined completion of RFPs for the Clinical Review Division.

• Coordinate the streamlined completion of SOWs for the Clinical Review Division.

• Support Product Management activities for capital approval and ROI analysis.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required

• MBA is preferred

• Technical degree is a plus
